I spent 24 years in the military, where discipline, resilience, and leadership weren’t just words — they were survival. From the harshest environments to the toughest challenges, I learned what it means to dig deep, to keep going when everything in you says stop, and to push far beyond what you thought possible. Those lessons shaped me.
When I left the military, I wasn’t done with testing myself. I stepped into the world of endurance sport, chasing a new mission: Ironman. My first Ironman was a reality check. It was brutal, humbling, and it taught me more about myself than I could have imagined. But I didn’t stop there. By learning, refining, and applying the same principles that carried me through my military career, I managed to cut 2 hours and 50 minutes off my Ironman time — proof that progress comes with the right mindset, structure, and support.
Now, I’m building something bigger — an organisation fuelled by passion, built on those lessons of resilience, and designed to help others break through their own barriers. Because here’s the truth: this isn’t just for me. This is for anyone.
You don’t have to be a soldier, an athlete, or a professional. You just have to start. Everyone begins somewhere, and with the right guidance, anyone can achieve more than they ever thought possible.
My Story: From Soldier to Ironman
A journey built on discipline, resilience, and 24 years of endurance experience.
Triathlon
• First full Ironman: Copenhagen – finished in 14:55
• Second full Ironman: Estonia – finished in 11:07 (a 2 hour 48 min improvement)
• Third full Ironman: Wales – finished in 12:57 despite multiple jellyfish stings and mechanical bike issues
• Completed multiple 70.3 Ironmans with consistent experience gained each time
• Not naturally gifted, started late in triathlon — which helps me connect with athletes who are also learning and progressing step by step
Run
• Over 24 years of running experience, starting from the age of 16
• Running has always been the foundation of my endurance and performance
• Built consistency and resilience over decades of training and racing
Swim
• Started swimming only 6–7 years ago, committed to serious training in the last 2 years
• Understands the frustrations of learning to swim later in life — unlike lifelong swimmers who can’t always explain the process
• Teaches swimming with empathy and practical methods that make sense to beginners and late starters
• Knows the common mistakes, breakthroughs, and real challenges people face in the water
Mindset
• 23 years of military service, built on hardship, resilience, and adversity
• Experience in pushing through mental and physical barriers daily
• Applies military-tested mindset techniques to sport and life
• Focused on building resilience, discipline, and the ability to overcome setbacks
